Thrown Wolf Survival Session
Tech support in the wild
![]() |
If my flagship product was not to get a sencond job... Then this would be it. Giving those who were like me needing to cobble so many things for knowledge work but can't afford a pro in each piece of software. |
The Pain
Tech support, or any support for that matter, seems difficult or impossible to come by.
When you need to edit an image, you can pay a lot for someones 5-10 minutes of work, OR you
can go learn photoshop top to bottom for a hefty price, or spend a day on youtube learning and
open source program.
And who has time for that when work requires you stay on top of emails, cases, tasks, and that is
not even mentioning how almost no really know what to do anyway, so the day is spent figuring that
out.
The Problem
AI is going to take all the jobs (so they say).
We are expected to produce more for less in a terribly complex world.
No one is coming to help.
The Solution
uhhh...as far as I can offer....
After this heading you are expecting me to say "But I, I am coming, and all your problems are gone!"
Nope.
In my decade plus in tech support (and any other roles I had before then) I have been the noob, the pro,
the hero, the villian. I have been praised one week for being the grinder or solving a difficult problem,
and then yelled at and demoted another week over a misunderstanding or there just not being enough work.
What I am offering is helping build a system or tools to help you manage yourself, for that is the secret sauce.
We can build a personal knowledge base and you don't have to learn markup.
We can make that accessible on a self hosted web server...if that is a pain, than just on your computer, if that
is not tenable, then on your phone.
Can consult on the tools that just make it easier to traverse through work:

* Clipboard management
